We are so lucky to live in Wellington County, an area that is rich in agriculture, is heavily focused on community, and is surrounded by several post-secondary institutions that educate us on issues with our food system.
Slow Food Guelph Wellington’s main priority is to support local small scale farms, food producers and food activists to help nurture a sustainable food community that is educated on the importance of good, clean and fair food.
We host monthly events in our community which connect people through food and education.
We’re currently getting ready to showcase the City of Guelph and the County of Wellington at the Slow Food in Canada National Summit from May 2-5, 2019. We hope to see you there!
