Emma Allen-Vercoe, B.Sc.(Hons), Ph.D. is an associate professor in the Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of Guelph. She is a microbial ecologist who studies the human gut microbiota, and has developed the ‘Robogut’, an in vitro model system for this purpose.
